Identifikasi Jamur Penyebab Onikomikosis Pada Pedagang Ikan di Pasar Kota Palangka Raya

Profesi pedagang ikan termasuk dalam kelompok pekerjaan dengan risiko signifikan terhadap infeksi mikotik. Paparan air secara terus-menerus mengakibatkan kondisi kuku basah dan lembap, yang secara fisiologis menjadi lingkungan ideal bagi pertumbuhan jamur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis jamur penyebab onikomikosis pada kuku pedagang ikan dengan metode kultur pada media SDA serta konfirmasi melalui pemeriksaan mikroskopis menggunakan larutan KOH 10%. Metode yang digunakan pada media ini adalah eksperimental. Berdasarkan pemeriksaan mikroskopis diperoleh hasil positif sebanyak 13 sampel (87,7%) dan negatif sebanyak 2 sampel (13,3%). Hasil penelitian penelitian mengindikasikan mayoritas kuku pedagang ikan di Pasar Kota Palangka Raya terinfeksi jamur Non-dermatophyta sebagai penyebab onikomikosis.
