Determinan Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Wilayah Puskesmas Alalak Selatan Kota Banjarmasin

Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan menduduki peringkat ke-18 untuk kasus diabetes melitus pada tahun 2018 di Indonesia. Riskesdas Kalimantan Selatan 2013, dari 13 kabupaten/kota, prevalensi diabetes melitus di Kota Banjarmasin merupakan prevalensi tertinggi yaitu 1,7% dan meningkat menjadi 2,12% di tahun 2018. Tahun 2022, Kota Banjarmasin memiliki penderita diabetes melitus terbanyak dibandingkan kabupaten lainnya di Kalsel yaitu 16.013 orang. Dari 27 puskesmas yang ada di Kota Banjarmasin, Puskesmas Alalak Selatan memiliki cakupan pelayanan penderita diabetes melitus terbanyak yaitu 517 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan diabetes mellitus, menganalisis faktor yang paling mempengaruhi diabetes mellitus. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan kasus kontrol. Sampel terdiri dari 52 orang kasus, 52 orang kontrol di tiga kelurahan yang berada di wilayah Puskesmas Alalak Selatan secara accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara umur, jenis kelamin, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), genetik dan pengetahuan dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2 namun terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah faktor aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di wilayah Puskesmas Alalak Selatan Kota Banjarmasin. Diharapkan para sampel memperbaiki pola makan dan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik terutama olahraga
